Gravity Water

Thank you Tyler, Assistant Director from Gravity Water, who presented an eye-opening assembly to our students about developing a safe water supply in Nepal as part of our school's Global Awareness Week. 

Gravity Water combines rainwater harvesting, elevated storage, and gravity-fed filtration, providing communities in developing countries with a source of safe drinking water that is on-site, self-sustaining, and 100% energy-free.

Booster Raffle - May the odds be ever in your favor!

Boosters will be kicking off its raffle for this grand prize, a Family Four (4) Pack of One-Day Disneyland & California Adventure Park Hopper tickets.  

There will be three raffle winners and each raffle winner will win a Family Four (4) Pack of these Park Hopper tickets.

NOTE:  Family Four (4) Pack of One-Day Disneyland & California Adventure
Park Hopper tickets are valued at $700+ and are valid through Apr 4, 2020.

A single raffle ticket is $5.  A set of 5 raffle tickets is a bargain price of $20.  

Look for raffle ticket order form & envelope at the office or sent home and return by Tue May 8 4pm.  

Boosters will also sell raffle tickets in person during the Tue May 8 Science Fair at 5pm until the drawing at the event.  Winner(s) do not need to be present at the drawing.

Student Council is hosting its annual Penny Wars Tue thru Fri with proceeds going to Jack's Helping Hand.

We need help counting on Thu Apr 26 before pick up (~1:50-2:50pm) and Fri Apr 27 morning 8:30-11am before official bank coin count.  Email treasurer@teachboosters.org if you can help.

Needed - Presenters for Global Awareness Day on 4/26

Global Awareness Day  Thursday, April 26 Presenters needed!

Are you from another country?  Have you visited another country?  Have you learned about another culture and can share?  Partner with a friend if you like, and come and share with the students! How Global Awareness Day is designed:   Prior to Global Awareness Day, students will be given a list of countries from which they will request their "top 3" choices. Teachers will assign 3 countries for each student to visit. After a morning assembly, 12 parent volunteers will present a 15-20 minute presentation on a country in 3 sessions to 3 different groups of students.  We need YOU:  We still need 5-6 parent volunteers (or volunteer teams) to present a country. You don't need to be from a foreign country in order to present, just pick a place that intrigues and fascinates you, or perhaps a country you've visited. You could show pictures, teach a song and/or a dance, play a game, read a book, sample a food, or teach a craft. Each session is only 15 minutes, so it doesn't have to be comprehensive.  Find a friend and do it together!   This is a fun and enriching experience for both parent volunteers and students.  If you are interested in VOLUNTEERING to present a country or assist with the event, or if you have have any questions about the event, please contact Janet at Teach School Office 805-596-4100.

2018 California Distinguished School Award

Congratulations to our amazing Teach Tigers students, staff and families! Teach continues our strong tradition from 2010 and 2014 by being recognized as a 2018 California Distinguished School. We also congratulate Del Mar Elementary and San Luis Coastal School District for winning this award in our county.
